Audiences across the UK and Ireland will get the chance to see the RSC's multi award-winning Matilda The Musical as the production embarks on its second major national tour, opening in October 2025.

Based on the beloved book by Roald Dahl, with music and lyrics by Tim Minchin and book by Dennis Kelly, the musical has already been seen by 12 million people across 100 cities worldwide, and has received over 100 international awards since starting life in Stratford-upon-Avon at The Courtyard Theatre in 2010.

The show will celebrate 15 years on stage when it opens at Leicester Curve in October 2025, after which it will travel to Bradford, Liverpool, Plymouth, Sunderland, Edinburgh, Manchester, Southampton, Bristol, Birmingham, Norwich, Dublin, Milton Keynes, Glasgow, and finish in Cardiff, where it will play over Christmas 2026 into 2027.
