Making a group booking with us could not be easier. Our dedicated Groups Team is on hand Monday-Friday (midday-6pm) to help tailor your booking to be a one-of-a-kind visit every time. In addition to our year-round calendar of performances, your group can also enjoy a delicious seasonal meal in the Rooftop Restaurant whilst taking in the stunning views of Shakespeare’s hometown.

We're currently operating a cashless service across our bars, Rooftop Restaurant and shop at all performances in the Royal Shakespeare Theatre.

Ordering interval drinks for a group

You can order pre-show and interval drinks for you and your group. We’ll email you a unique pre-ordering link ahead of your visit, where you can select your items and choose when you want to collect them. We send the link to the person who booked the tickets for your group, so they need to be the one to place the order for your group.

Eating and Drinking

We have a range of places to eat and drink, whether you’re looking for morning coffee, lunch, afternoon tea, hot or cold buffet or a sit down dinner. We cook all food fresh in our kitchens, from the finest locally sourced, seasonal ingredients.

Our Rooftop Restaurant is situated on the top floor of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre offering stunning views of the River Avon and surrounding countryside. Open for pre-theatre dining, we serve a simply cooked modern British menu in a unique space.

THE TOWER

Our theatre tower is open daily, boasting panoramic views of Stratford-upon-Avon. Standing 32m above street level, you will look out over the town's historic buildings, the River Avon and beyond. On a clear day you can see 20 miles of Warwickshire countryside and into Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire and Worcestershire.

The Tower is open to visit from 12 midday to 4pm, except on matinee days or during bad weather.* Groups of 10+ should book in advance by calling the RSC Box Office on 01789 331111. There is a fee of £1 per head, so we can reserve the Tower for your group.

The Tower has a capacity of 18 visitors. Larger groups can be divided into parties up to 18, and we recommend allowing 15 minutes for each party whilst other members of your group explore our Front of House areas, visit our Riverside Riverside Cafe and browse our Shop

School Group Visits

All of our tours can be tailored for school visits - just let us know the ages of the students taking part when booking and we will do the rest. Please note that one adult is required for every 10 students.
