SYNOPSIS

Evie who came to Britain as a child is labelled an illegal immigrant by the Home Office. When immigration officers come knocking, Evie flees to her ex-partner whom she has not seen for 10 years. He himself is involved in an internet scam and Evie too becomes embroiled. She has to fight for her future whilst revisiting her past.

Joan Jackson-Callen is a writer from London. Evie of Windrush is her first full length play. She has previously written performance poetry for children. Joan is currently retired from the rat race.
