Caesar, Reimagined: Phyllida Lloyd & Harriet Walter In Conversation

Discover how Julius Caesar, our First Encounters co-production with KPPL Productions, takes a fiercely political play to a new level. In this In Conversation event, audiences will join Phyllida Lloyd CBE (Director) and Dame Harriet Walter (Brutus) to dive deeper into the origin of the production, its radical interpretation of the text, and how it has resonated with schools, communities and alternative education settings across a five-week national tour.

Who Is Othello? Sharon D Clarke & Monique Touko In Conversation

Join us to explore the 2027 Swan Theatre production of Othello, with Sharon D Clarke (Othello) and Monique Touko (Director) discussing the play and the character and how they speak to the world around us. At the heart of the discussion is how the central character of Othello has been investigated and reinterpreted across many productions. This conversation will examine the role and the play through the lens of racism, jealousy, and the control of narrative speaking to the world we live in today

We offer talks with members of each show's director and/or creative team in conversation, talking about some of the influences and decisions that have created the production.

The Patrons’ Team often hold drinks in the bar after the Director or Creative Team Talk and before the show starts, so do try and book those simultaneously to get the most out of your day.
