FIRST ENCOUNTERS: KING LEAR

King Lear is one of Shakespeare’s tragedy plays. There are many deaths in this play, including torture and a death by suicide.  However, in this production we have explored these moments in a sensitive way and have looked at how we can bring some lightness and hope to the story. For more details about the production please explore our Visual Story guide.

This production also features:

  • Loud music and noise

This page and the Visual Story document are being  continuously updated as the production is rehearsed and will be finalised on Monday 15 September.
